Mango Season
Mango season is just around the corner. We all know how summer are known for its fruits. Mangoes are known to grow in dry and hot places yet the chilled fruit is one of the most favorite fruits from around the world. You can just eat the fruit or experiment with the fruit extensively by trying out multiple new recipes.

You can try making mango soda which is extremely famous in South Asian dishes. The simplified recipe of the mango soda is to blend and cook the mango puree on medium heat until it thickens. After that add in spices such as cardamom, jeera and garam masala. These spices give the perfect aroma to the mango soda. After you have cooked the puree, store it in an airtight container. Whenever you feel like having it, add 2 tablespoons of the puree and mix with chilled water. This means that you can always have a chilled mango drink on the go.
Another very famous recipe is the mango curry. This curry can be made by pureeing mango cubes and cooking it with your preferred protein. Mangoes not only add a sweetened flavour to your curry but also help the meat cook to perfection. The meat can be served with a mango drink. It will be difficult to find mango chunks in your curry as the heat will cook most of them but you can always enjoy the mango flavor. A kid’s favorite recipe is the mango popsicles that you can make with your kids. You can ask your children to chop their favourite fruits and they will for sure cut mango cubes. Add in cream, yogurt, and sugar and mix well until combined. Add in your mango chunks or you can always puree the mangoes if your children do not like mangoes. Serve chilled and enjoy with your family.
